The Princeton cross country teams host the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17.

PRINCETON, N.J. (10/3/15) - The No. 28-ranked Princeton women's cross country team defeated 11 teams, including three other ranked squads as the Tigers won the Princeton Inter-Regional Meet on Saturday at West Windsor Fields.

The Princeton women's cross country team took third place at the 21st Annual Brother John Paddy Doyle/Iona Meet of Champions race today at Van Cortlandt Park.

The Princeton women's cross country team will send a select group of runners to compete at the 21st Annual Brother Doyle Meet of Champions in Van Cortlandt Park this weekend. The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19 and is hosted by Iona College.

Junior Lizzie Bird won the HYP meet at Franklin Park as the Princeton women's cross country team opened the 2015 season. Bird clocked a 17:14, seven seconds ahead of the second-place finisher from Harvard.

The Princeton men's and women's cross country team open the 2015 season on Friday, Sept. 11 at the HYP meet.

Sophomore Megan Curham and freshman Natalie Rathjen have earned all-academic honors by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA).
