The Princeton women's cross country team will send a select group of runners to compete at the 21st Annual Brother Doyle Meet of Champions in Van Cortlandt Park this weekend. The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19 and is hosted by Iona College.
Junior Lizzie Bird won the HYP meet at Franklin Park as the Princeton women's cross country team opened the 2015 season. Bird clocked a 17:14, seven seconds ahead of the second-place finisher from Harvard.
Sophomore Megan Curham and freshman Natalie Rathjen have earned all-academic honors by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA).
